Moscow Aviation Institute (National Research University), Russia and Amity University explore the potential areas of collaboration

 A high-level delegation from Moscow Aviation Institute (National Research University), Russia, comprising of Mr. Alexey Zarechenskiy, Head International Department, Mr. Alexander Balashov, Head of Science & Technology Section and Ms.  Sofya Spasskovs, Admission Manager, Moscow Aviation Institute, visited Amity University Noida, with an aim to explore the potential areas of collaboration between the two Universities.

 

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Alexey Zarechenskiy, Head International Department, Moscow Aviation Institute (National Research University), stated, “Moscow Aviation Institute has more than 1800 foreign students who are enrolled in Undergraduate and Graduate Programs, available in both, Russian and English medium. 64% of Indian students study at the Institute in English medium and Amity students can also enroll for various Programmes in English medium such as Aircraft engineering, Propulsion engineering, Spacecraft engineering, Control Systems & Computer Science in Engineering, thereby strengthening the relationship between National Research University and Amity University.” 

 

Mr. Alexander Balashov, Head of Science & Technology Section, Moscow Aviation Institute (National Research University), averred, “Amity University is one of the best Universities across the world and we would like to partner with Amity, in various areas of Space Science & Technology, which will be mutually beneficial for both the Universities.”

 

Highlighting the areas of collaboration, Dr. W. Selvamurthy, President, Amity Science Technology and Innovation Foundation said, “Amity University would like to collaborate with Moscow Aviation Institute, to jointly design the curriculum of the various Programmes offered by Amity. Students of Amity can visit Moscow Aviation Institute for six-month Dissertation Programmes on a mutually chosen project. In addition, joint research publications and joint PhD Programmes are some of the other areas where the two institutions can collaborate. Students of Amity and Moscow Aviation Institute can also participate in various projects under Indo Russian Schemes and can jointly submit their research projects.”

 

The delegation took a round of the Amity University campus including the high-tech laboratories, Central Library and Amity Innovation Incubator during their visit.
