Amity University and Loyola Marymount University, USA explore the potential areas of collaboration
A high- level delegation from Loyola Marymount University, USA, comprising of Dr. Tina Choe, Dean of the Frank R. Seaver College of Science and Engineering, Dr. Maureen Weatherall, Vice Provost of Enrollment Management, Dr. Ammar Dalal, Assistant Vice Provost for Graduate Enrollment and Mr. Sanjay Dhingra, Chief Operating Officer at SEED Global Education.
Highlighting the significance of the collaboration, Dr. Maureen Weatherall, Vice Provost of Enrollment Management, said, “Loyola Marymount University is a mission driven University like Amity. The collaboration between Amity University and Loyola Marymount University, USA marks the beginning of a long-standing partnership between the two Universities which will benefit the students and help in achieving better research outcomes in the field of STEM( Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics), Journalism and Mass Communications, Biotechnology, Information Technology and others.”
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Tina Choe, Dean of the Frank R. Seaver College of Science and Engineering, stated, “This is the beginning of a long lasting, mutually beneficial relationship between Amity University and Loyola Marymount University, USA. For us, student experience is of utmost importance and we would like to invite the students and faculty of Amity University to share their knowledge and experience with our students by collaborating in the area of research and innovation.”
Presenting an overview of the Amity Education Group, Dr. Gurinder Singh, Group Vice Chancellor, Amity Universities, said, “Collaboration between Universities contributes to institutional development, enhances teaching skills and promotes development of technological and cultural research. The delegation took a round of the Amity Campus including the Central Library, ASCO studio and the high-tech laboratories. Also present on the occasion were Dr. W.
