Mega Voluntary Blood Donation Camp organized by Rotary Club at Amity University
Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida campus in association with Rotary Blood Bank, Delhi, organized a mega Voluntary Blood Donation Camp at its campus. The students supported this noble cause whole heartedly, by donating blood and over 700 students volunteered to donate blood, out of which more than 400 units of blood was collected.
Encouraging the students to donate blood, Rtn. Shri Ajay Chauhan, Former President Rotary & Trustee RBEF, averred, “At Amity, human values are imbibed in the students by encouraging them to do service to humanity through such noble causes. Blood Donation is one of the noblest services one can render to humanity, it is the most significant contribution that a person can make towards society. Amity University has been constantly supporting this cause by organizing a blood donation camp for many years and will continue to do so in future.”

Pankaj Kapoor, Secretary Rotary Club and Rtn. Anita Mahendru, DG Nominate District Governor and faculties of Amity Institute of Health and Allied Sciences and Amity Institute of Pharmacy
Students showed great enthusiasm and vigour to donate blood on this occasion. Sharing his experience, Mr. Charu Chandra, a student of B. Tech, said, “I am very excited to donate blood since blood donation means service to humanity. Through such noble deeds, one must give back to the society and fulfill their social responsibility.”
Ms. Anuja, a student of B. Pharma stated, “Blood donation saves lives and therefore, one must come forward and volunteer for blood donation. I’m very happy that the blood donated by me will be helpful in saving lives of the people who need blood.”
