Students of Amity University Uttar Pradesh meet U.S. Secretary of the Navy at American Center in New Delhi

A group of 60 enthusiastic students of Amity University Uttar Pradesh, met U.S. Secretary of Navy, Carlos Del Toro at the American Center at Kasturba Gandhi Marg, New Delhi during his visit to India on 17th November 2022.
The meeting was highly interactive and engaging where the Hon’ble Secretary spoke with young students and budding entrepreneurs on U.S.-India Defence Cooperation Relationship, and the intersection between careers in technology and defence. The visit was very insightful and beneficial for the students. They discussed and raised queries regarding career prospects in defense and military affairs under the aegis of the US - India defence cooperation.
After the interaction, Lt Gen (Dr) SK Gadeock, AVSM (Retd), Director General Amity Institute of Defence and Strategic Studies(AIDSS) and Rear Admiral Alok Bhatnagar NM LoM(USA) (Retd), Deputy Director General – International Affairs Department(IAD), along with Amity student representative, Amlan Mishra felicitated the Hon’ble Secretary with traditional Indian gifts.
