10th International Conference on Reliability, Infocom Technology and Optimization (ICRITO’2022) commences at Amity
Amity Institute of Information Technology (AIIT), Amity University Uttar Pradesh, organized the 10th International Conference on Reliability, Infocom Technologies and Optimization (ICRITO’2022) (Trends and Future Directions) technically sponsored by Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) from 13th to 14th October 2022.
The two- day Conference aims at providing future directions to young researchers and practitioners and facilitate exchange of ideas, by fostering National collaboration. The Conference will be attended by more than 400 delegates from India and different countries including USA, Australia, Japan, UAE, Oman, Iran, Italy, Canada and South Africa and will be highly beneficial for Academicians, Researchers, and Industry people in the area of Software and Hardware Reliability, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Operational Research, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Analytics and Internet of Things. A total of 775 Research Papers were submitted for the Conference by authors from India and abroad, out of which 255 will be presented and published by IEEE Xplore, USA and will be Scopus indexed.
Delivering a presentation on “Trends in Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security”, Chief Guest, Dr. G. Athithan, B. D. Nagchaudhuri, Former Director General, DRDO at Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (CAIR), asserted, “Artificial Intelligence is intelligence embodied in a machine that can interpret input data, apply knowledge to achieve set goals, learn and extract knowledge from data and enhance performance over time. Cyber Security is one of the major concern areas today as due to Digital technology, everything is at the click of a button, but at the same time, one must be extremely cautious and careful as the information can very easily be transferred to a third party without the user’s knowledge. Hence both areas are very helpful in today’s world, and one must have the basic knowledge about how it works in practicality.”
Sharing his “Words of Wisdom and Roadmap for Future”, Dr Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President, Amity Education Group, averred, “Artificial Intelligence is transforming the world today through its application in almost every field. Amity has created a huge opportunity for its students whereby they can fulfil their dreams and become great Scientists and Researchers who will lead the world in future. Today, India is the world’s fastest growing economy and stands at the 40th position in Global Innovation Index- 2022, it is the aim of Amity to bring it to the 25th position in the next five years, by producing world class Scientists and Researchers as students’ career has always been of utmost priority at Amity.”
Speaking during the Inaugural Session, Guest of Honour, Prof. S. K. Singh, IIIT Allahabad, Section Chair IEEE UP Section, said, “The Amity Group is one of the best institutions in the country which constantly supports IEEE UP Section, and it is because of this support that IEEE has maintained the top position in the Asia Pacific Region. It also has support of organizations such as DRDO and ISRO and is thankful to them for their support to IEEE for its growth. “
Highlighting the significance of the Conference, Prof. (Dr.) Balvinder Shukla, Vice Chancellor, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, stated, “The Conference will provide a great opportunity for Researchers and provide them a platform for learning and networking. The collaboration between academia and industry is very crucial for the successful implementation of technologies. On this occasion, Honorary Professorship was also conferred upon Dr Broumi Said by Amity, Laboratory of Information Processing, Faculty of Science Ben M’Sik, University Hassan II, Casablanca, Morocco and the key highlights of ICRITO’2022 were shared by Dr. Rekha Agarwal, Director Amity Institute of Information Technology.
