Amity University Uttar Pradesh signs MoU with University of Kebangsaan, Malaysia (UKM)
Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida signed an MoU with University of Kebangsaan, Malaysia (UKM) to explore potential areas of academic and research collaboration.
Highlighting the importance of the MoU, Prof. Dato’ Ir. Dr. Wan Hamidon Wan Badaruzzaman, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment, University of Kebangsaan, Malaysia (UKM), averred, “University of Kebangsaan, Malaysia (UKM) is very happy to collaborate with Amity University and this collaboration will strengthen the relationship between the two universities. The collaboration marks the beginning of a long-lasting mutually beneficial relationship with Amity and UKM would like to emphasize upon the areas of online learning, organizing joint conferences, symposia and also focus on employability and income generation programmes. UKM welcomes the students of Amity to its campus and would like to dwell upon various subjects and fields where the two Universities can learn from each other and grow together.”
Addressing the gathering, Prof. (Dr.) Balvinder Shukla, Vice Chancellor, Amity University Uttar Pradesh said, “The MoU has been signed with the objective of creating opportunities for cooperative research and educational partnership, promoting the exchange of students at all levels, articulation of agreements and exchange of academic and administrative staff. The application of e-learning and distance learning technologies, collaborative research and projects, short-duration student mobility on Study Abroad Programs, conducting lectures, organising symposia and joint events, are some of the other areas which will be explored through this collaboration. The collaboration will be mutually beneficial for both Universities and its outcome will be reviewed after six months as collaborations without outcome have no meaning and cannot achieve the primary goals.”
The MoU Signing Ceremony concluded with the felicitation of guests and was attended by the researchers, head of institutions, faculty members and staff of Amity in large numbers.
