Addressing the gathering at the Inaugural Session, Shri Jagannath Panda, an Eminent Contemporary Artist of international repute, averred, “Art students must pursue their art practice relentlessly and explore new territories and forms by being experimental and innovative. They should attempt to learn from other artists as each artist has something different to offer in terms of their design sensibilities. A keen observation, persistence and hard work go a long way in making an artist better. Humility and honesty are other essential traits required to become a successful artist.”

Failure is a part of life; therefore, one should not be afraid of failure, instead, learn from the same. Students must concentrate on brushing up their basic skills and learn to synchronize between their hands and minds. They should not get fascinated by technology, rather they should focus on learning new skills and art techniques which is the success mantra to become a great artist.”
