Actor John Abraham enthralls students during Amity Youth Fest- 2022
Amity University, Noida, Uttar Pradesh organized Amity Youth Festival - 2022 from 24th March to 26th March 2022, for both University and School (9th -12th Std) students in hybrid mode.
The visit of Bollywood Actor, John Abraham, during the Valedictory Programme was a major attraction which led the audience cheering for him loudly. He came to promote his upcoming movie, “Attack” which will be releasing this year in April. He urged the audience to watch the movie and advised the students to study hard and make their country proud.
Addressing the gathering during the Valedictory Programme, Guest of Honor, Shri Sudarshan Bhagat, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha, averred, “It is a great endeavour by Amity University where students are made aware of the diverse culture and traditions of the Indian democracy. Students must participate in competitions such as Amity Youth Fest which provides them the opportunity to hone their skills, showcase their talent, creativity and attain knowledge. The youth of our country have to lead the nation and the future of our country depends completely on them. Therefore, students must strive to excel in every field and make their institution, teachers and parents proud.”
Speaking at the Valedictory Programme, Dr. (Prof.) Balvinder Shukla, Vice Chancellor, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, stated, “The last three days have been full of excitement and high on energy shown by our students. The various competitions held during the three -day fest provided a platform to the students to showcase out-of-the-box, innovative thinking and exemplary skills. The Fest also helped in the overall personality development of the students and instilled confidence in them. I congratulate all the students and the members of the organizing committee who made this event successful. Defeat and victory are a part of life but the most important is to participate. All the youth will make the future of our country brighter and will make us proud by accomplishing huge milestones in various fields.”
During the three-day Fest, the University hosted 73 technical and non-technical competitions, including Treasure Hunt Computer Security Challenge, Animation Film Making Competition, Business Idea Competition, Literary Quiz, Drone Rage, Finquest, Cyber Hack, Technovation and many others, for University and College students and 43 competitions for School students which include Codigo- Python Program Coding Challenge, Story Board Design Competition, Bridge the Gap -Model Making Competition, Story Telling Competition and Foot Stanz- International Dance Competition, amongst others. The winners of various competitions hosted by different departments and institutions of Amity University were also announced during the Valedictory Programme.
Well-choreographed dance performances, including bhangra and folk dance, mesmerized the audience. The auditorium was packed to its full capacity with the students, faculty members, staff, researchers and scholars of Amity University, who attended the Valedictory Programme in large numbers.
