Amity University organizes a “Three-day Capacity Certification Course on Capacity Building & Personality Development Programme”

Amity University, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, organized a “Three-day Capacity Certification Course on Capacity Building & Personality Development Programme” for the students, to enhance their Employability Skills.  

Chief Guest, Dr. Manoj Kumar Sinha, Director, Indian Law Institute, said, “Enhancement of Employability through Capacity Building has many benefits including competence to understand the problems and find their solution, service towards the society, development of leadership skills, inter-disciplinary approach amongst others. Digital Literacy, Time management and Stress Management and being a good listener are some of the other skills which help us in becoming great leaders and professionals. It is also important that we have adequate knowledge about effective use of Social Media and its role in the society. We must also understand our clients’ requirements and should act and respond accordingly, in order to arrive at the best solution.”   

Prof. Hari M Gupta, President, Institution of Communication Engineers & Information Technologists, averred, “This Programme will help to gain personal insight and learning to monitor your own behavior and grow your awareness of how it affects others. It also aids in building successful teams by forming meaningful collaborations. It is very important to know the traits required to become a scientist & leader.” 

Dr. Mohd. Arif, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Law, Aligarh Muslim University Centre, Murshidabad, West Bengal, said, “Today, when the world in advancing thorough Science and Technology, it is imperative that leaders showcase exceptional skills and abilities to be successful in their respective fields and contribute significantly to global development. The Programme will also be helpful in acquiring essential functional skills to manage projects in line with Government policies on procurement, financial management and utilization of resources.” 

Speaking at the inaugural session, Dr. D.K. Bandopadhyay, Mentor, Amity Institute of Environmental Sciences, Amity University, said, “This Programme will be very beneficial for our students, as it will provide useful information on various aspects of Capacity Building, which will increase their chances of employability and make them thorough professionals.”
