Virtual India Immersion Program’ commences at Amity University

A five-day Virtual India Immersion Program (IIP) being organized by International Affairs Division of Amity University, is a unique program meant for overseas participant students and faculty, tailored with the purpose of providing an insight into India and the Indian way of life, focusing on a three-way orientation for the student’s i.e academic, cultural & industrial perspective. This program has been designed and open to all students of any field with an objective of providing a concise but concentrated exposure on various aspects of India and how India functional, whether it is business, economy, science or law.
The current 2021 session of IIP, began with an enthralling Inauguration boosting eleven students from University of Sheffield, University of Roehampton, and Keele University, across various disciplines.
This unique programme will familiarize international students with topics such as Cross Cultural Management and Setting Goals, Yoga & Lifestyle for Holistic Healthcare, The Happiness Design, Communication across Cultures, Psychology & Covid, Why India Matters to the World, Celebrating Global Citizenship by Engaging the Youth in Internati onal Development and many more by eminent scientists, academics and experts from Industry and Universities. During the program, a virtual tour will also be organized by Mother Dairy to provide an insight of Indian Milk Industry, including a cultural evening by students of Amity University.
During the inauguration, Dr Atul Chauhan, Chancellor, Amity University, through his encouraging words of wisdom and excellence, instilled immense inquisitiveness amongst global explorers, touring India, and called upon them to take as much learning as they can through this unique programme.
Sharing his thoughts, Dr. Prof. (Dr.) Gurinder Singh Group Vice Chancellor, Amity Universities said “a new dynamics in quality education is being created through their programme at the global footprint. It is an effort to take Amity to the world and getting the world to Amity”.
