MoU signed between Amity University & School of Law, TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY, Texas, USA

Amity University (AU) signed an MoU with School of Law, TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY, Texas, USA for joint research, teaching, and academic excellence in the legal field. The MoU was signed by Dr. DK Bandyopadhyay, Chairman, Amity Law School, and Dr. John Junkinson, Interim President, Texas A&M University.
As part of MoU, Amity University and School of Law, TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY, will collaborate jointly on the potential exchange of faculty for joint teaching and research programs. Teachers will also encourage the enrollment of qualified students in the other’s academic programs.
Dr. Robert Ahdieh , Dean, TEXAS A&M Law School said “We mainly focus on three things: student, teacher, and curriculum. We are preparing a new generation of advocates. Texas A&M Law School is ranked among the top ten law schools in the USA. We are in the leading position in intellectual property rights and cybersecurity. Texas A&M University has installed footprints on a large scale worldwide under the Student and Teacher Exchange Program”. Dr. Ahdieh said together with renowned institutes like Amity where innovation culture and mindset are developed, we will establish new dimensions for students.
Dr. David Dye, Asst. Dean, Texas A & M University Law School provided detailed information about the LLM program run by Texas A&M Law School and the opportunities available to students. “We feel proud of this agreement, and it will benefit the students and teachers of both institutes. Both institutions will take a long journey on the path of this cooperation”, said Dr Dye.
Representing Amity, Prof. (Dr) Gurinder Singh, Group Vice-Chancellor, Amity University UP said Amity Law School is one of the finest legal institutions in the world. Both institutes work with the objective to provide global exposure to the students so that they get full opportunity to grow.
Dr. DK Bandyopadhyay, Chairman, Amity Law School said “At Amity we provide students with skills and knowledge-based learning based on values ??and culture. We adopt best practices for the overall development of the students so that the students get the best exposure and opportunity”.
During the virtual MoU signing ceremony, Dr. BL Arya, Registrar, Amity University Uttar Pradesh; Dr. Aditya Tomar, Joint Head, Amity Law School Noida; Amity Foundation for Science and Innovation Alliance, Director General, Dr. Rajiv Sharma; Dr. Srividya Ragavan , Coordinator, India Programs, Texas A & M University Law School were also present along with faculty and academicians from Law.
