Amity School of Engineering & Technology organized a one-day online meet

Amity School of Engineering & Technology organized a one-day online meet on 27 March, 2021 for the alumni of Department of Information Technology on the theme: Future Skills & Job roles for Industry 4.0 & beyond.  The online alumni meet was attended by many alumni including those who passed out from the University more than ten Years ago. Alumni expressed their happiness and gratitude to the University for giving them an opportunity to come back to their alma mater and for shaping their personalities to be the leaders of today.

Dr Atul Chauhan, Chancellor, Amity University Uttar Pradesh congratulated each one of them for their success and shared that the vision of Founder President Dr. Ashok K Chauhan has been translated into reality through the accomplishments of our alumni. Vice Chancellor Amity University Uttar Pradesh Prof. (Dr.) Balvinder Shukla welcomed the alumni and encouraged them to cherish this relationship and rejuvenate the bond with their alma mater

Mr. Ayush Goenka Vice President - Product Owner, Financial Planning, Morgan Stanley, New Jersey, USA shared his experience and thoughts on how four Years of undergraduate technical Programme at Amity University Uttar Pradesh helped him acquire leadership and managerial skills along with expertise on cutting edge technologies. He shared how his stay at the hostel on the campus made him more independent and prepared him to face any challenge.

Ms. Guneet Singh, Sr. Manager, Global Corporate Affairs, Tata Sons Private Limited shared her journey from campus to career. Mr. Lavi Nigam, Data Scientist at Gartner, Mr. Parikshit Product Manager, Entrust Global Group LLC, Mr. Ashish Shukla, Manager Digital & Innovation - KPMG LG, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Ms. Akanksha Jain Test Architect, HIS Markit and Mr. Prateek Chakrabarty, Associate Vice President- Product Marketing, Univariety emphasized on the importance of soft skills for a successful career. All the panelists highlighted the importance of value-added courses such as Behavioural Science, Communications Skills and Foreign Business Language for transforming their personalities and making them successful in their career path.

Amity Alumni Achiever Awards for outstanding contribution of alumni in various domains were presented during the online meeting. Prof. (Dr.) K M Soni Dy. Dean (Engineering & Tech.), Prof. (Dr.) Anupam Narula Dy. Director (Alumni Relations), Prof. (Dr.) Abhay Bansal Jt. Head, ASET, & Director DICET, Prof. (Dr.) Manoj K Pandey Jt. Head, ASET and Dr. Nitasha Hasteer Dy. Director (Academics) and Head – Department of Information Technology, ASET interacted with the alumni and complemented them for their stupendous achievements in their walks of life.
