Valedictory function of Amity Youth Festival 2021

 Inaugurating the valedictory function of Amity Youth Festival 2021 His Excellency, Shri Arif Mohammad Khan, Hon'ble Governor of Kerala termed this festival as an example of partnership and an opportunity for all the participants to develop their all-round personality. Addressing the students, he said that, “the life as a student is the foundation of learning and training for future. This is the time to learn obey, respect, discipline and to live with people with different backgrounds. Activities like youth fest help you to develop your core skills as a creative person. We all know that education is the greatest weapon for empowerment, in every society it is the most potential power and game changer which moulds the character of people and enhances their self-esteem and makes them aware of their social responsibility”. His Excellency also said that education can make one as a responsible citizen. India is an ancient civilization but it keeps renewing itself through young generations and feels no hesitation in embracing new ideas from all sources. Today India is projected as a young nation which would have largest population of young people in the working age by 2030. This demographic dividend will place young Indians in a position to pursue best careers in the world to utilize this opportunity therefore, it is essential to improve the quality of education to make it relevant in terms of providing employment opportunity which requires a new vision for education driven dynamically by changing industry needs. The economic growth of our country requires large number of scientists, technicians and engineers and our education system with NEP Policy will achieve this, remarked Shri Khan.

 Dr. Atul Chauhan, Chancellor, Amity University congratulated all the participants who participated in this youth festival. Dr. Chauhan said that it is a very unique online festival in which people have participated across the world. Tremendous talent and energy can be seen during the festival which gives a great hope that future of world is in the hands of talented young people, thus the world is safe and youth will make the world a better place to live.

 Dr. Aseem Chauhan, Chancellor, Amity University said that through this mega event students have been provided with an opportunity to showcase their talent, innovation and skills. Amity has always been a medium of encouragement and inspiration to the talent of the students. Students will lead the world by becoming scientists, policy makers etc. of tomorrow and advised students to try their best to fulfill every dream. 

Ms Pooja Chauhan, Chairperson, Amity Humanity Foundation and Dr. Balvinder Shukla, Vice Chancellor, Amity University Uttra Pradesh shared thier views. 

During the festival over 100 institutions of Amity Universities organized over 97 events/ activities which saw participation of over 12,000 students from schools and colleges across the globe such as Amity Institute of Marine Science and Technology -organized International Marine Quiz Competition in which student of Smk Dato Bentara Dalam Segamat ,Johor College, Malayisa  stood first.

Amity Institute of Psychology and Allied Sciences- organized Psychsavvy Competition in which Sandhya Java of Amity University, Dubai won the first prize.

Amity Institute of Applied Sciences- organized Scientific Photomontage in which Shimpy Rani of Government College of education, Chaudhary Bansi Lal University (CBLU), Bhiwani, Haryana won the first prize.

Amity School of Design – organized Shade competition in which student of Vellore Institute of Technology took second position.

Amity Institute of Biotechnology, Lucknow – organized Bio- Techno- Vision in which Nirjala Kuamri from Mahadev Higher Secondary School, Patna stood first.

Amity Institute of Nuclear Science & Technology– organized Curie-Osity The quiz in which Gunveer Singh Marwah from The Indian School, Delhi stood second.

Amity Institute of Organic Agriculture – organized Agriculture Hackathon in which Piyush Raj from Delhi Technological University won the first prize.

Amity School of Economics – organized INQUIZITIVE-21 in which student of Lady Irwin College won the first position.
