Seven Mantra's for success in today's Corporate World
A lecture by Mr. Vivek Nanda, National Manager- Direct Sales, Sharp Business Systems was delivered on ‘Seven Mantra's for success in today's Corporate World’. He averred that First mantra is punctuality. Time management is very important. Never disrespect that. Second mantra is Integrity. Integrity is important and you need to have integrity towards yourself and then towards others. This will take you miles in the corporate world. When you are hired in a company as a fresher only integrity is expected. Third mantra is sincerity which is required in every aspect of life whether it is personal and professional. Sincerity is the word we listen for whole life from parents but is expected from your office also. So if you are sincere 50% of task is completed because sincerity build trust factor. Forth mantra is Positive attitude. Positive attitude person can see, find and grab the opportunity. People with negative attitude are never welcomed in corporate world whereas positive person with smiling face and passion are always sought after. Whatever fails but hard work never fails; there is no alternate and shortcut towards hard work. Most of the success people are hard working so fifth mantra is hard working. Reliability comes with years of trust, people believe in brands which are built in years and reliable, because they have never failed. Reliability is the sixth mantra. Be reliable to your parents, corporate ethics, seniors and juniors. He suggested to students to increase their reliability factor as much as they can. In corporate world a reliable person is always given big responsibilities. Learn to spot opportunities. Most of the youngsters now look and think of doing jobs in corporate but try to be entrepreneurs. Finding opportunities is the seventh mantra. To reach out to people you have to be like them. Tomorrow you will be working in corporate world to connect with different people and learn their culture, language etc. Connect with people, know them then you can understand their needs.
