A lecture by Ms Sangeetha Vijay, Global Head- HR, Ameri100 (A US Based MNC) was delivered on ‘Career and Personal Growth’. While addressing the virtual audience, Ms Sangeetha said that to be successful in life there must be purpose driven goal and one should begin with the end in mind. Decide what you're going to do with time, talent and tools you have to work with self awareness and knowledge. She suggested the audience to use imagination to visualize only win-win situations. Accepting changes is very important and taking up new roles should be priority. She suggested that continuous learning with reading and writing should never stop and advised students to pursue their hobbies and get a mentor. She also asked to filter out what other people might say or think about them and use positive words in their inner dialogues or when talking with others. She advised students to gain confidence by knowing that they’re actively taking steps to steps outside of their comfort zone & improve themselves. She also asked them to let go of past regrets, celebrate every little life's blessings and not to tackle everything at once but be realistic. She suggested them to surround themselves with high-achievers & positive people. She asked them not to be afraid to explore new possibilities and learn and to do something nice for someone to feel good about themselves.
