Amity International Business School organizes “Corporate Meet – 2007”
Amity International Business School organized “Corporate Meet- 2007” at Amity International Business School, Sector- 44 Noida. The Corporate Meet is an annual event, where eminent personalities and stalwarts from various management fields (both Corporate and Academia) are invited for an informal interaction with students and faculty with a view to pool ideas and opinions for mutual advantage and developing close relationship. It provides a common platform to strengthen the industrial–academic relations through experience sharing, networking and thus creative a synergy of interests.
The Corporate Meet was inaugurated by
Dr. Ashok K Chauhan- Founder, Amity University who called upon the students to equip themselves to the changes taking place in the contemporary corporate scenario and advised the students on how to face the challenge. He said that the future of country depends on the foundation laid by young ones. If the foundation is solid then the future of the country will definitely be firm and solid. Dr. Chauhan, further, advised students to build inner strength and be courageous to put forth their point and convince others.

Dr. Gurinder Singh- Director, Amity International Business School commented, “At Amity, we have a tradition of bringing industry and academia together at a common platform to understand the need of each other and felicitate our students to get education in the most practical way. The Corporate Meet is a step forward to meet our objectives of honouring the Industry for the efforts, which they make by providing Summer Internships to our students and guiding them for 2 months. He further remarked “The new market forces have placed management institutions, the additional responsibility of producing new managerial talent that meets the need of a changing corporate world. ‘The managers in Making’ have to shoulder this responsibility and this is possible only through the cooperation and support of our corporate partners. The Corporate Meet displayed a plethora of events in the form of panel discussion, exhibitions, management games, market research and cultural programme. For the first time in the history of any management institute 500 case studies, were formally released during the Corporate Meet. , These case studies have been prepared by the students of Amity International Business School who have done a rigorous and thorough research during the last 10-12 weeks of their Summer Internships which is an integral part of their MBA curriculum
The Academia-Industrial interaction meet was graced by the auspicious presence of the distinguished guests, seasoned Management experts, learned academicians and the high profile Government Officials.
