Dr. Song Kuok Thong

Pro Vice Chancellor, INTI International University

Mr. Song Kuok Thong has more than 15 years of teaching experience in higher learning institutions. Currently he is serving as the Pro Vice Chancellor, INTI International University beginning 2022. Previously he was the Chief Executive of INTI College Nilai from November 2018 to December 2021.

Prior to joining INTI College Nilai, he has served as a Senior Lecturer, Head of Programmes, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Business, Communications and Law and the Director of Students Experience at the INTI International University. While holding the position as the Head of Programmes, he was also the liaison officer for CPA Australia from 2008 to 2010 as well as the link tutor for Beijing INTI Management College, which he held for 2 years from 2006 to 2007. Mr Song is also an active supporter of Business Consultations.

He had engaged companies in Malaysia by taking up consultation projects and involved his students to be a part of the consultation team to expose them to the real industrial world. Overall, he had conducted more than 30 of such projects. His previous position as the Director of Students Experience requires him to play a central role in delivering strategy, policy and processes which enhance INTI International University’s non-academic ‘student life’ experience, in addition to inputting to strategy development of the academic aspects of the student experience.
