The major collaborations will include, Initiation of student research program starting March 2022 . The School of Engineering and Technology at University of Arizona is willing to take part in the Micro-campus programs. Uni-Italia (Italy) in Higher Education under Study in Italy Program
Uni-Italia is a Centre for Academic Promotion & Orientation for studying in Italy collaborates with Amity University Mumbai. This tie-up will help Amity University students to pursue their dream for higher education in Italy under a special scholarship scheme on the "Study In Italy" initiative. This collaboration aims to make Italy a higher education destination in the field of Information Technology, Engineering, and Architect for Amity students. During this tie-up, Ms. Federica Maria Giove, Director, Uni-Italy from Italian Consulate and Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Dr. A.W. Santhosh Kumar, Registrar, Dr. Hira Vyas, and Prof. Abhijit Shirodkar, Director, Amity School of Architecture & Planning, Amity University Mumbai emphasized on the Student Exchange, Collaborative Research & Study in Italy. University will also line up many academic events fostering the interest of students, to nurture studies in Italy in various domains. On this tie-up, Dr. A.W. MoU Signed with "Center for DNA Finger Printing and Diagnostics" (CDFD), Hyderabad, a Department of Biotechnology - Government of India
Amity University Mumbai signs a Memorandum of understanding with “Center for DNA fingerprinting and Diagnostics” (CDFD), Hyderabad, a Department of Biotechnology - Government of India. The MoU was signed by the Director of CDFD and Dr. A.W.Santhosh Kumar, Pro-Vice-Chancellor representing the Chancellor, Amity University, Mumbai - Dr. Aseem Chauhan.
CDFD is among one of the premier institutions in India which have now joined hands with Amity Mumbai. This collaboration will mainly focus on research initiates with all the Centers of Excellence in Amity University, especially the “Center for Astrobiology”.
The major niche areas will be researching microbes that live in extreme environments, research on Genomics and drug target discovery, and also on the fields of nano-delivery systems. Mainly this collaboration will facilitate the use of high-end instruments in biological research, initiatives on student internships, and faculty training.
