Vice Chancellor

Dr. A.W. Santhosh Kumar is a nationally and internationally distinguished, a highly accomplished academician and researcher with 39 years of experience. He had held the position of Vice Chancellor in three Nationally renowned institutions, held the positions of Dean, Academic Affairs, and Dean, Accreditations in the USA. He holds a Ph.D. from the All India institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi with three post - doctoral fellowships, worked at the University of California, Davis, USA; National Institutes of Health (NIH), USA ; J. Craig Venters Institute, USA and National Cancer Center of Singapore(NCCS),Singapore.

He has served as Chairman/member of NAAC peer team, Chairman of NBA accreditation committee, and member/ convener of International accreditations such as WASC and ABET. He was instrumental in establishing new departments, interdepartmental centers of excellences and spear headed academic accreditations and reforms of the institutions where he served. Currently, he is a sitting member of national agencies such as DBT, DST, ICMR, MoES.
