1) What was the inspiration behind taking up this Particular workshop?
As part of its Organizational Social Responsibility (OSR) initiative, Amity School of Languages conducted a Spanish language introductory workshop for the students of Sudhagadh Education Society, Pali Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Bhatan. The objective of this workshop was to introduce young learners the basics of the Spanish language and culture, fostering their interest in global languages and opportunities. Facilitated by our faculty member and advanced Spanish language students, Amity School of Languages aimed to contribute to the holistic educational development of students in the nearby community. Language plays a vital role in fostering education and career in one’s life. Through this workshop, students at the school gained knowledge of the Spanish language which is the second most spoken language in the world.

This workshop was attended by the students of Sudhagadh Education Society, Pali’s Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Bhatan. The Spanish Students of ASL volunteered and participated in the event and offered them training. Mr Rawal Kharat, Spanish faculty of ASL, taught few basic words Spanish language to the students and explained it’s importance through different posters and activities. The workshop was also attended by the Principal and other faculty members of School in Bhatan.
6) What were the ‘Take Homes’ for the Guests and the Attendees in the form of knowledge, facts, information, etc.?
The take-home Homes were:
· Importance of learning a foreign language and its use
· Careers that a foreign language provides.
· Students also got familiar with the culture and traditions of Spain.
· At the end of the session, students at the school were able to learn basic conversations in Spanish.
7) Has the workshop been able to generate any Tangible Gains for the Faculty, Researchers and Students of Amity.
Yes, the workshop has generated significant tangible gains for the students of Amity School of Languages, as the students of ASL got the chance to share their expertise and knowledge of the Spanish language with the students at school in Bhatan.
8) What are the ‘Progressive Outcomes /Way Forward’ planned, based on the event of the workshop. Please give them pointwise, with timelines and names of the persons responsible for their execution.
