“Herbal Garden” of Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Amity University Mumbai was inaugurated on Thursday, 13th June 2024 at the auspicious hands of Honourable Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. A. W Santosh Kumar Sir. More than 50 saplings of various plants of medicinal value like Brahmi, Amla, Peepal, Banyan, Aloe Vera, Asparagus, Adulsa, Hirda, Beheda were planted with an objective of providing the students with hands on experience of herbal plants, their cultivation, harvesting and knowledge about their morphology, phytochemical constituents and medicinal uses. Students will be actively involved in maintaining & propagating this garden as an excellent resource of medicinal plants.
