Government Scholarship Schemes

The students of Amity Lucknow Campus are benefited from various Government Scholarships every year:

UP Govt Scholarship for GEN, OBC, SC / ST and Minority categories students (https://scholarship.up.gov.in/)

During the session 2018-19 to 2022-23, 642 students were granted Rs 2,65,16,580/- (Two Crore Sixty-five lakh Sixteen thousand Five Hundred Eighty Only) by the government only directly in the bank accounts of the students.

Eligibility and Procedure

The students whose family income below Rs 2.0 Lakh per annum for GEN, OBC & MINORITY & Rs 2.5 Lakh per Annum for SC / ST and obtained 60% marks in Intermediate can apply online for UP Govt Scholarship Scheme. Online application form is available on UP Govt Scholarship website www.scholarship.up.nic.in.
Online filling of Scholarship Applications for Fresh and Renewal applicants commencing in month of July every year.
Correction and final printout of application should be done by the students of both category (Fresh & Renewal) within three days of online submission scholarship application. Hard copy of application form along with supporting documents to be submitted to DSW office AUUP Lucknow Campus AB-6 Ground Floor. Following supporting documents are required along with online filled application form for fresh and renewal students: -
- Income Certificate of Parents / Guardians) below 2 Lakh for GEN, OBC & Minority and Rs 2.5 Lakh per Annum for SC / ST.
- Copy of AADHAR & PAN CARD of Parents / Guardians.
- Caste Certificate and Domicile Certificate from Tehsildar.
- Copy of fee receipt, students Aadhar Card & Amity ID card
- Previous year attendance copy (only for renewal students).
- Copy of student Bank Passbook. (Bank Account in any Nationalized Bank of Uttar Pradesh)
- Copy of High School, Intermediate & previous year Mark sheet along with certificate.

The online process of Govt Scholarships is followed with transparency for both state and Government scholarships. There is a structured system of management of information related to scholarships and the amount of Scholarship released by the Govt is directly credited in the bank account of the students.

National Scholarships (Minority categories)

The objective of the Scheme is to provide financial assistance to the poor and meritorious students belonging to minority communities to enable them to pursue professional and technical courses. (https://scholarships.gov.in/)

Eligibility and Procedure

Post Matric Scholarships: Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination and the annual income of whose parents/guardians from all sources does not exceed Rs.2.00 lakh.
Merit cum Means Scholarship for Professional and Technical Courses CS Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination and the annual income of whose parents/guardians from all sources does not exceed Rs.2.50 lakh.
Online application commencing for National Scholarships Schemes every year through website https://scholarships.gov.in/.
Post Matric & Merit cum Means Scholarship for Professional and Technical Courses CS under Ministry of Minority Affairs are only for students belonging to minority communities (Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Boudh, Jain & Persian).
Other various state wise scholarship schemes have also been launched by Govt of India under following sections. Details of central Govt schemes are available on National Scholarship Portal https://scholarships.gov.in/.
Following supporting documents are required to be uploaded during filling online scholarship application on National Scholarship Web Portal:-
- Copy of Income, Minority Category & Domicile Certificate issued by State / UT authority.
- Student Photograph & Bonafide Certificate
- Self-Declaration of minority community certificate by the students
- Self-Attested Certificate of pervious academic mark sheet
- Fee Receipt, Aadhar Card & Amity Identity Card Copy
- Income Certificate issued by the Designated State / UT Authority
- Proof of bank account in the name of student or joint account with mother / father

Post Graduate Scholarship for Single Girl Child

Eligibility

Age limit: Girl students up to the age of 30 years at the time of admission in the first year of PG courses are eligible.
The scheme is applicable to such single girl child who has taken admission in regular, fulltime first year master’s degree course in any designated university or a post graduate college.
Admission to PG Course in Distance education mode is not covered under the scheme.
Procedure For Applying for The Scheme - Applications will be invited once in a year on the National e-Scholarship Portal of the Government of India
Applicants should visit the website for detailed instructions.

Other States Government Scholarships (https://scholarships.gov.in/)

The Department of Student Welfare is also dealing with other state Government Scholarship Schemes launched by them for their students who are studying in the campus from other than Uttar Pradesh.
An authorized login ID issued by respective State Government agencies in the name of Amity University Pradesh Lucknow Campus for further online processing of their Scholarship Applications of students studying from Other States.
The amount of Scholarship released by their respective State Government is directly credited in the bank account of the students.
