There is an internal committee in the University approved by appropriate authority. Dean Student Welfare is Chairperson of internal committee vested with powers of civil court to deal with cases of sexual harassment. There is an environment of gender equality and sensitivity in the campus. Several activities are carried out for gender sensitization of students, faculty and staff. There is clear-cut process to file complaint of any kind of sexual harassment. A printed booklet detailing the process distributed to all students. A three-person enquiry committee is immediately setup and an all-out effort is made to complete the enquiry within the stipulated time limit as per internal committee rules. Appropriate punishment is awarded and immediately implemented. Many cases have been resolved in the past. The cell is open to both sexes. The details of grievances received are given as under:
