An annual 7-day camp takes place in the designated area, centered around a specific theme. Each student is mandated to engage in at least one Special Camp within a 2-year timeframe. The character of activities within the NSS program adapts to meet the evolving needs of the community.
Special Camp constitutes an integral facet of the National Service Scheme and holds a particular appeal to young individuals. It offers students exclusive opportunities for communal living, the exchange of collective experiences, and continuous engagement with the community.
The activities in Special Camping usually revolve around diverse national development issues. It is anticipated that 50% of the volunteers from each NSS unit will participate in these week-long camps every year.
