The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a Government of India initiative under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. It offers students in the 11th and 12th grades, as well as those in technical institutions, colleges, and universities across India, the opportunity to engage in a variety of government-led community service activities and programs.
