need to know about Patent Application?
Every person who strives to be an inventor needs to know what a patent is, when
should he file an application, what the law says, what to do & what not to do.
How and what to look for in prior art, understanding what infringement is and how to
work your way around it.
These are some pertinent questions the curious mind always breeds.
Solving these queries is especially more relevant when we talk of University
Inventors, who do extensive basic research whose future
DST-Amity TEC organised a Talk on Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs) and a Panel Discussion on Strategies to increase the TRLs in the University Ecosystem on Oct 4, 2023, followed by a Technology Transfer Agreement Signing Ceremony of ‘AI based software for Male Fertility Detection’.
The talk was delivered by Dr. A.K. Singh, Senior Vice President, Amity Foundation for Science, Technology & Innovation alliances (AFSTIA), Former Director General (LS), DRDO and the Panel Discussion was chaired by Dr. W. Selvamurthy, President, Amity Science, Technology, and Innovation Foundation.

The TT Agreement signed in between Amity University Uttar Pradesh and APS Lifetech. Dr. Paritosh Shekhar, founder and Chairman of APS Lifetech was present during the signing ceremony who has been licensed to use an AI-based software that Dr. Abhishek Sengupta, PhD (He/Him), and Dr Priyanka Narad, PhD developed for predicting male fertility.
