Amity Rekhi Centre of Excellence for the Science of Happiness came into existence at AIBS, Amity University Uttar Pradesh due to partnership with R-Systems which is headed by Dr. Satinder Singh Rekhi, Managing Director. Rekhi Centre of Excellence for the Science of Happiness was established on 17th Feb 2021.
Rekhi centre of Excellence for the science of Happiness will be the hallmark symbol for his vision and will lead by example on how life and businesses can be carried in better ways. This centre of Excellence aims to develop high standards of research and in the areas of Happiness. It will look into the scientific side to stimulate the existing ecosystem of body, mind and energy with more general social objectives, corporate strategy-culture seamless integration or regional development to enhance Happiness.
It aims to share simple methods to enhance happiness. It is a platform for Building Joyful Students, faculty and community members who will be enhance their quality of lives, develop clarity, confidence and be a great asset to any Organization they will join or run in the future. The Centre aims to conduct research into the Science of happiness. It also supports existing academic credit-based courses by becoming the new window to fulfill the requirements of Human Values and Community Outreach programmes running in Amity University. It aims to become the Happiness hub for India and the world by attracting students to come for internship, social projects and above all an intention for transforming oneself into a Joyful being.

It is admirable that Amity, a world class University, has initiated research and studies in the Science of Happiness - sharing and spreading happiness and creating a fulfilling life with a meaning. We need a mindset to feel happy even when things do not go our way and many times, they will not. When we lose something or someone, get rejected, do not get a promotion, it is at that time we need the ability to be comfortable with those unpleasant feelings. Actually, happiness and unhappiness, success and failure, winning and defeat, hell and heaven, live together. Happiness is not based on events that happen in the world but on how we respond to what takes place. We can create our own heaven and hell based solely on how we respond to life’s challenges.
