A workshop was organized by Autodesk for students of BFA- Animation 3rd & 4th year on 19th January, 2017. Workshop was focusing on Animation using 3Ds MAX software.
Students were given brief about advantages of modeling techniques from Autodesk using 3D’s MAX.
Following members were present from Autodesk to conduct the workshop.Students in interaction with Mr. Mayannk Aggarwall
Student had a good understanding on the subject.
Workshop on Fire Fighting Mock Drill was organized by ASFA on 05th October, 2016 under the mentorship of Mr. Vijay Bahadur Srivastava, Dy Chief Fire Officer, Fire & Safety Department. Students of ASFA were present in Room No. 506, I-2, 5th floor to have the awareness on fire fighting and how to actively participate in case of such emergencies.

Students were given detail understanding of types of fires and appropriate methods to control the same. Students were also highlighted on points of preventing measures.
A workshop on “How to create 3D art for video game and production” was organized at ASFA on 20th January, 2017.
Following two senior artist were present :-Student of BFA- Animation & BFA- Visual Communication were briefed about latest technologies in gaming industries, scope of animation in gaming. Workshop was followed by question answer sessions. Student had good understanding of gaming industry & prospects of job in this industry.
Poster making competition on “Democracy & Ethical Voting” was organized by ASFA on 24th January, 2017. 180 students of ASFA participated in this competition and created digital posters which were displayed in E-2 Audi. Objective behind this competition was to create awareness among voters in the state assembly elections for ethical voting.

Five Posters were selected as the Best Posters designed by Ms. Kiranpreet Kaur, Ms. Anima Aggarwal, Ms. Kritika Setia, Ms. Kristal Kwan and Ms. Namrata Verma. Selected posters were sent to Election Commission.

Amity School of Fine Arts provides a great academic scope and allowance utilizing which the recent Workshop on painting with slum kids has been possible to be structuralized to impart worthy works of Art from it; the feedback from attendees and people was very positive. This Workshop was aimed to let the students perceive the dynamic possibilities of the Painting Discipline as in learning activities by conducting workshops onVoluntary basesat the real ground of society.

Kids made imaginative drawings by sketch pen and colored oil pastel on drawing book at the workshop. It is special also for the Fine Arts students who are eager to talk, learn and teach the participant kids. Kids made creative expression and their efforts, though were on small scale, but ensued in inspiring and worth outcome.

Group of students experienced in the paper making process demonstrated the steps, making pulp from waste paper, then carefully straining out the water with filters and towels, before setting out to dry, the new hand-made paper. Paper that has minimal pulp and papermaking emissions - and does not use chlorine bleaching and is manufactured in a closed loop system for instance full effluent recycling; it was also lesson to the students for waste management

On display were the experimental found objects impressions, Pop carving and casting, various texture explorations, Pulp painting, Paper making process, Machine handling, Paper dye color preparation, and other small artifacts made from waste paper at this workshop-cum-exhibition.

It is special also for the Fine Arts students who recycle paper, made creative expression and create wealth from waste. Their efforts, though small, are inspiring and certainly worth emulating. We recycled handmade paper and office paper and follow the ideology of "waste to wealth" and integrate this in process, product and practice

Objective of the workshop was recycling paper, and cut down on our use of paper made from virgin pulp, perhaps the billions of trees that are gleaned every year to make paper, could be spared and left standing to perform a more important task – that of absorbing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere

The Delegation comprised of the following members:Ms. Kate Williams, Head of Journalism & Media – University of Northampton, UK made a presentation on “Portfolio Building & Presentation” . She discussed the relevance of various Boards that make up the Portfolio like Mood Board, Story board, inspiration Board, design development Board, client Board , Swatch Board, Color Board etc and also showed her own Portfolios
She elaborated on the relevance of a good inspiration which may be taken from anywhere from your surroundings or any current work

Ms. Vicki Dean, Subject leader for Fashion, University of Northampton made a presentation on “Natural dyes and cradle to cradle production techniques through the use of permaculture methods” She discussed the relevance of research in area of textiles and also presented her own Research work on Nettle fiber. She elaborated all the steps in her textile research right from tilling of land to final Dyeing & finishing of Yarns

Had been conducted at ASFT on 31st Jan 2019 .DigiBunai under Government project “DIGITAL INDIA” has been developed by Digital India Corporation. It is software developed for weaving application to optimize the pre-loom loading process of design creation, generation of graph, and punching the jacquard cards with the ability to view the complete garment digitally with various colour & design combinations and sizes before weaving. It is an open-ware software which is provided free of cost and can serve at least 65-79% requirement of Banarasi Saree handloom workers
In this PDP, Chief scientist officer of this project with his team presented the application and also shared the link by which it can be used by our faculty and students in textile designing free of cost.
The team from DIGIBUNAI made a presentation and demonstrated the application of the Software in Textile Industry. The use of various Weaves had been validated.

PDP on Trends In Fashion Forecasting had been organized at Amity School of Fashion Technology on 7th Feb 2019 at 2.30 pm in Room No 315, K-I Block, III Floor.
The Fashion industry is moving very fast. Brands/ Retailers are prioritizing and focusing on optimum product, markets and channels and they need their partners to be pro-active and understand trend forecasts, provide actionable insights and accurately enable product performance data. Identifying a trend is a continuous effort of compiling observations. It can be summed up as "hunting and gathering”. Whilst gathering facts, at the root of it is also a personal intuition and an eye for what's next. WGSN Lifestyle & Interiors helps achieve that intuition!

The discussions were primarily to explore areas of common interest like Faculty Exchange, Student Exchange, Summer Courses etc.
At the end of their visit, they were all praise for the faculty and students as well as the work done by them and the infrastructure of ASFT & ASFA.
