We are ushering into a new era of education where the new education policy of 2020 has completely revamped the old pattern of education. A lot many changes have been brought in for the benefit of students. One of the most important changes is the credit bank system where our students can accumulate their earned credits which will remain valid even if they leave the university midway due to some medical or economic reasons. However, when they rejoin the classes, after some time, they can restart education from where they left the course with the earned credits. We have adopted all the changes suggested by NEP and implemented them in true spirit. Amity injects the flavour of research and innovation among students right from the day of induction and provides ample opportunities and a conducive environment to generate novel and out-of-the-box ideas. We incubate and nurture their ideas and take them to logical conclusions.

Amity University Kolkata boasts of its world-class sports complex that houses multi-badminton courts, basketball, volleyball, billiards, squash courts, mega-size swimming pool, gymnasium, pistol shooting range, and a yoga hall. We give equal emphasis on sports activities to inspire brotherhood, togetherness and camaraderie. There is a Café Coffee Day (CCD) and three multi-cuisine canteens in the campus.
