Training Program on Disaster Risk Reduction: Faculty members/researchers from Amity University, Noida, AMITY University Gurgaon, Amity University Rajasthan and Amity University Punjab came together for a transformative experience during the "One-Week Training Program on Science & Tech in Disaster Risk Reduction" organized at RRSC-North, National Remote Sensing Centre, ISRO in collaboration with National Institute of Disaster Management from July 8th to July 12th, 2024.
PIE Workshop for Innovation & Entrepreneurship: Amity University Sparks Innovation with PIE Workshop in Partnership with IN-SPACe, Drawing 1000+ Participants for Entrepreneurship and Collaboration. Amity University hosted an insightful Workshop on the Pre-Incubation Entrepreneurship (PIE) Development Programme in collaboration with the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Centre (IN-SPACe) on 29th August 2024. The event brought together a dynamic cohort of over 1000 participants from prestigious institutions across the Delhi/NCR region, fostering a collaborative environment for knowledge sharing and networking.
Amity University among the top National 100 institutions selected to participate in the ISRO-led research discussions at IIST Thiruvananthapuram in December 2024.
CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAM: Harnessing Geospatial Technology for Forest Fire Disaster Management: Mapping, Monitoring and Mitigation- Total 300+ Registration Received from more than 120 Institutes and Universities across India. 25 Participants were trained on advanced technology.
Winter School Training Program: Under the Amity Space Mission, a 21-Day Winter School Training Program was conducted on Geospatial Science & Technology. The program was fully sponsored by the DST, GoI (Department of Science and Technology, Government of India) under the National Geospatial Program from 18th November to 07th December 2024.
