AMITY SCHOLARSHIPS

Amity has established India’s largest Scholarship Programme through which upto 100% scholarship has been awarded to over 25,000 students.

At Amity, we believe in rewarding the hard work and excellence achieved by meritorious students in their academic endeavors. The Amity Scholarships have been initiated to encourage the talents of such students, thereby strengthening the roots of our future generation. A small step towards the collective goal of making India the knowledge superpower of the world.

All students who are eligible for the scholarships (for programmes after 10+2 only) are given admission on Fast Track. That means they do not have to appear for the admission selection process and their admission is done based on their application form. Direct Admission is not applicable for Post Graduate programs. Scholarship will be offered after joining the program on verification of original documents.

Direct Admission / Fast Track Admission-cum-Scholarship is not applicable for the programs of Architecture/ Design / Education / Fashion / Fine Arts / Law and Physical Education programs. Limited Scholarship seats are available, which will be offered after joining the program.

100% Scholarship

Eligibility - 95% aggregate and above (excluding Physical Education/ Fine Arts / Performing Arts / Vocational / non written subjects) in CBSE or ISC Board of Class XII- 2021/2020

75% Scholarship

Eligibility - 93% - 94.99% aggregate and above (excluding Physical Education/ Fine Arts / Performing Arts / Vocational / non written subjects) in CBSE or ISC Board of Class XII- 2021/2020

50% Scholarship

Eligibility - 90% - 92.99% aggregate and above (excluding Physical Education/ Fine Arts / Performing Arts / Vocational / non written subjects) in CBSE or ISC Board of Class XII- 2021/2020

20% Scholarship

Eligibility - 90% aggregate and above (excluding Physical Education/ Fine Arts / Performing Arts / Vocational / non written subjects) in State Board of Class XII- 2021/2020

LIMITED NUMBER OF SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE ON FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS

100% Scholarship

Eligibility - Students securing 93% aggregate and above ((excluding Physical Education/ Fine Arts / Performing Arts / Vocational / non written subjects) in CBSE/ ISC Board of Class XII and 80% in Graduation.

50% Scholarship

Eligibility - Students securing 90% aggregate and above (excluding Physical Education/ Fine Arts / Performing Arts / Vocational / non written subjects) in CBSE/ ISC Board of Class XII and 75% in Graduation.

20% Scholarship

Eligibility - Students securing 90% aggregate and above (excluding Physical Education/ Fine Arts / Performing Arts / Vocational / non written subjects) in State Board of Class XII and 75% and above in Graduation.

Candidates who meet the Post Graduate Scholarship eligibility criteria after selection, should approach the Admission Office with the original marksheets to get the scholarship granted, latest by 31st October of respective admission year.

To attract talent in sports, Amity University offer Sports Scholarships.

Criteria for Admission

Minimum academic eligibility for the respective program should be met

Age should not be of more than 23 years as on 01st July, 2021.

Fast Track Admission

All students who are eligible for the sports scholarships are given admission on Fast Track. That means they do not have to appear for the Sports Trial & Interview and their admission is done based on their application form and assessment of sports certificates for last three years.

    Olympic Games by IOC
  • Olympic Games by IOC
  • World championships under International Sports Federation (IOA and / or MYAS recognized / affiliated Games).
  • Asian Games by Olympic Council of Asia.
  • Asian Championship organized by International Federation of concerned game (recongnized / affiliated by MYAS and / or IOA).
  • Commonwealth Games, S.A.F. Games and Afro Asian Games.
  • Paralympics Games (recognized / affiliated by IOC and / or MYAS).

In absence of relevant Sports certificates Scholarship application will not be considered.

Last date to apply for Sports Scholarship is 30th June, 2021.

Performance Monitoring

  • All candidates selected under sports quota will have to submit an affidavit stating that they will participate / represent only from Amity University Punjab.
  • Achievements in their sports (basis for grant of sports quota scholarship) will be monitored by University Sports committee)

In recognition of the services rendered to the nation by Martyr’s, a scholarship has been instituted at Mohali campus with the following details:

Criteria for Admission

A Candidate should meet minimum academic eligibility criteria of the respective program and also get selected through selection process.

100% Scholarship will be given to selected students based on the scrutiny of Scholarship committee.

The scholarship will be given after joining the program and excess fee paid by student will be adjusted in next academic fee.

Martyr’s from any of the following organizations are eligible for Scholarship:

  • Army
  • Navy
  • Air force
  • Assam Rifles
  • Special Frontier Force
  • Indian Coast Guard
  • CRPF (Central Reserve police Force)
  • BSF (Border Security Force)
  • ITBP (Indo-Tibetan Border Police)
  • CISF (Central Industrial Security Force)
  • SSB (SashastraSeemaBal)
  • State Police
  • In absence of relevant document and details in prescribed format, Scholarship application will stand cancelled.
  • The qualifying act in which the deceased attained martyrdom must be on line of duty. The applicants must support their application with documentary evidence justifying the scholarship.

PLEASE NOTE : The Scholarship is not applicable for Ph.D programs.

Continuation of Scholarship

Scholarship is granted on annual basis and continuation in second and further years of the program is subject to scholarship policy. To continue availing 100% scholarship students must secure position in top 5% of the merit list for the program. For continuation of 50% scholarship, students will have to secure position in top 10% of the merit list for the program.
