In a significant stride towards raising awareness and fostering strategies to prevent child sexual abuse, NSS(AUP) joined hands with 'The Rakshin Project' (Sakshi, a Registered NGO) and Amity Law School for a groundbreaking webinar on the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

The event, titled 'Child Sexual Abuse Prevention: POCSO Act,' was graced by Ms. Kaushika, the esteemed Project Manager of The Rakshin Project, who served as the keynote speaker. The webinar aimed to equip students with the knowledge and tools necessary to protect children from various forms of sexual abuse.

Ms. Kaushika's engaging session delved into the intricacies of safeguarding children from sexual abuse, offering comprehensive insights and practical strategies. Through interactive activities, she enriched the audience's understanding of child protection and highlighted available resources for safeguarding children.

Attended by 100 students and faculty members of Amity University, Punjab, the webinar's impact was further magnified as it was live telecasted to an additional 70 students who actively participated. Dr. Kusum Pal and Dr. Bindu, NSS Officers of Unit I and Unit II, meticulously coordinated the event, ensuring its smooth execution.
