My college seniors guided me at every step and are still an integral part of my life. Being a part of the Amity School of Planning and Architecture, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow Campus, has been a fantastic opportunity. The teachers in the department were the best of all—amazingly hard-working and friendly with us. For them, problem-solving was never an issue, as they made our ideas more effective and turned small projects into vast creations. "For the students, of the students, and by the students" was their motive.

We at the Amity School of Architecture and Planning of Amity University at Lucknow were given a warm and peaceful learning ambience with a library ample to accommodate both its students and their vivid world of creative expression in the form of a language lab, a music nook, a creative board room, hobby nooks, and other such extracurricular buffers. The OAT and studio-concept classrooms really dissolved the barriers between creativity and functionality. The best place to transition from imaginative to functional designers and architectural professions is with individuals, and more importantly, with themselves.

The School of Architecture at Amity University, Lucknow, was my first step towards my passion for architecture and design. Amity University, which is known for its quality education and international academic exposure, nurtured me both in terms of academics and personality. Our batch was the very first batch of ASAP, and we were soon recognised among the prestigious schools of architecture in the city. Amity University gave us an opportunity to work and learn under faculties from various prestigious schools and professional backgrounds.

Exploring and learning at Amity School of Architecture and Planning was an exceptional journey for five years. Through case studies and industrial visits, the department's team of experienced professors and visiting faculty provided us with useful insights into a variety of subjects, both theoretically and practically.Students learn a lot from experiential teaching methodology. Students learn to balance academics with extra-curricular activities. I am grateful to ASAP for providing me with an enriching experience.

My college years at ASAP have the most profound memories of my life. The awe-inspiring buildings, huge colonnaded space, and well-stacked library were enough reasons to get admission to Amity University. Confidence and learning increased day by day, and I began reshaping my work style and professional behaviour. I grew to learn what I really liked and disliked, what work style was best suited for me, and most importantly, what I was naturally good at. In other words, being forced to be independent was a useful learning experience during my graduation years. I am indebted to my faculty and friends who have been a pillar of support throughout the academic programme and made my college life an unforgettable journey.
