The ASAPL has grown and enriched its horizons by continuously upgrading its pedagogical approach to maintain vibrancy and enthusiasm in architectural education. ASAPL has adopted the use of innovative teaching processes to sustain the enriched learning environment and vigour among the students, impart education by specialised faculty members and mentorship through professional experts. The School is a student-centric institution, which exclusively provides guidance at various levels, and in different aspects of human habitat and environment. It has taken the lead in introducing academic programmes in specialised fields at the bachelor's level (Bachelor in Interior Design), which is available at very limited universities across the country.
In its bid to aim for excellence, the school has always been in the lead in encouraging students to extend their boundaries of knowledge. Sustainable development being the foremost concern of the school and the development of students into global citizens being the ultimate objective, the spectrum of academic programmes is being continuously extended. Students are provided opportunities to work with industry leaders to bridge the industry-academia gap and also sensitize budding architects about realistic concerns of society.
