The workshop commenced with a warm welcome to Ms. Manisha Kulshreshtha. Prof. Dipa Chakrabarti, Head of Institution, ASL, highlighted Ms. Kulshreshtha’s extensive body of work, including her acclaimed novels, short stories, and the numerous awards she has received for her creative contributions.

In the first session, participants were introduced to the essential technical skills required for creative writing, with a focus on key elements such as narrative structure, character development, dialogue writing, imagery, and stylistic techniques. The second session was more interactive in nature, featuring hands-on exercises and expert guidance. Participants delved deeper into the art of storytelling and honed their writing abilities through practical training.

The workshop also addressed common challenges faced by writers and offered effective strategies to enhance creativity and coherence in their work. Dr. Gunja Patni, the event coordinator, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the author for generously sharing her expertise and for helping participants refine their storytelling skills through engaging and insightful sessions.
