The webinar on Budget 2025: Key Insights and Post-Budget Implications aimed to introduce the participants about the key highlights of Union Budget-2025 and its post implications on different sectors of economy. The webinar tried to explore how the Budget-2025 can help in achieving Viksit Bharat by transforming social sectors. But at the same, the session also raises concern about all time low spending in such sectors. The event begins with the welcome of speaker, Dr. Gurpreet Singh by Dr. Rajeev Sharma and Dr. Shakir Hussain Malik. Dr. Gurpreet Singh discusses the post implications of budget 2025 and how it can transform the Indian economy by focusing on different sectors. He addressed that although the budget is growth oriented but still it has ignored some crucial sectors. The address was followed by an Interactive question-answer session where 10 to 15 questions were asked from the faculties, students, and research scholars. The session ended with a vote of thanks by Dr. Neha Bhartiya. As an outcome, participants gained a deeper understanding of the Budget-2025 and its post implications. The session offered practical insights to make broader understanding of budget and how it can impact our economy, besides raising some concerns about low spending in social sector which is crucial for the goal of Viksit Bharat@2047.
