On September 10, 2024, the Amity Institute of Physiotherapy organized a symposium on "Low Back Pain :- Prevention and Management," funded by the Indian Council of Philosophical Research. The event aimed to explore the Promote Awareness of Low Back Pain, Address Chronic and Acute Low Back Pain, Discuss Prevention Strategies, Evidence-Based Treatment, Encourage a Multidisciplinary Approach. The symposium began with a welcome address by Prof. G. K. Aseri, Pro Vice Chancellor, followed by opening remarks from Prof. Amit Jain, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, who emphasized Encourage a Multidisciplinary Approach. A ceremonial lamp lighting was conducted, followed by a felicitation of the speakers. The panel discussion provided insights into the low back pain and its ergonomics, its scientific basis, and its role in promoting holistic health. A lively Q&A session, facilitated by Prof. (Dr.) Anchit Gugnani, allowed participants to engage directly with the experts. The event concluded with closing remarks and a vote of thanks from Prof. (Dr.) Gugnani. Overall, the symposium highlighted the importance of integrating traditional wisdom with modern medical practices, promoting holistic health and well-being.
