Events

The event format is unique: approximately 7-10 students will be chosen from the audience to participate in a panel discussion. Each participant will present a succinct opening statement, lasting about 3 minutes. These statements will kickstart the panel discussion, facilitated by a moderator. Topics include economic opportunities, education, stereotypes, health challenges, and media portrayals.

 

The event encourages active involvement from both panelists and audience members. An open mic session will allow audience questions, insights, and contributions. The event concludes with a summary of key points by the moderator and closing thoughts from the panelists.

To ensure a respectful and inclusive atmosphere, clear rules and regulations have been established. These guidelines stress respectful behavior, time management, inclusivity, relevance, and compliance with organizational policies.

 

The "EmpowerHER Open Mic" event aims to empower through constructive dialogue and education. By amplifying student voices and fostering understanding, it aspires to drive positive change and promote gender equality within the university community.
