From the Desk of Head of Institution - ASL 

It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to Amity School of Languages (ASL), Amity University Rajasthan.

I feel privileged to share that ASL offers an updated and innovative syllabus responding to the current societal needs of the time, both local and global. Undergraduate French Students can study Language and Literature as well as Hotel Management and Tourism French and excel in Academia and Corporate jobs. Similarly, English Undergrads will be conversant with language and literature in English studies but also with Greek, Latin, Caribbean, Canadian, Australian literature in English side by side learning Content making and script writing. Post Graduate students in English and French are motivated to do academic research work but also to hone corporate expertise in Translation, Interpretation and Digital Content making.

Our doctoral programmes in English, French, Spanish and German draw a good number of scholars at every cycle of Ph.D. Entrance Examination and we help them to conduct research in areas that are socially relevant such as Ecocriticism, Green Humanities, Sustainability in Postcolonial Studies besides others. At all levels of the programmes, student experience is given great value and quality teaching-learning is promoted.

Private Sector and corporate employers today need multilingual and culturally competent employees. ASL is aware of this demand and grooms the Core area students as well as students of Value-Added Courses with zeal and enthusiasm through classroom teaching and by creating a platform through its events like Foreign Language Film Shows “Cinefeel” so that the young learners can get ample scope to explore language, literature, and culture of the world.

So, with these words, I invite all undergraduates, postgraduates and research aspirants to be a part of this exciting and rewarding journey.

The Amity School of Liberal Arts (ASLA) is dedicated to providing quality education with a special focus on contemporary and emerging trends in the Liberal Arts and Social Sciences.

In alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, ASLA offers B.A. Liberal Arts (Hons./Hons. with Research) and B.A. Economics (Hons./Hons. with Research) programmes that promote multidisciplinary learning, academic flexibility, critical thinking, research aptitude, and skill development. These programmes are designed to equip students with the knowledge, analytical abilities, and practical competencies required to address the challenges of a dynamic and interconnected world.

The School also offers the M.A. Public Policy and Governance programme, which prepares students to engage with contemporary policy challenges and governance issues at local, national, and global levels. The programme provides interdisciplinary training in public policy analysis, governance, leadership, digital governance, sustainability, and public administration.

In addition, ASLA facilitates advanced research through Ph.D. programmes in Political Science, History, and Economics, fostering academic excellence and contributing to scholarly and policy-oriented research. Through its diverse academic offerings, ASLA seeks to develop socially conscious, ethically grounded, and globally aware graduates capable of making meaningful contributions to society.
