After completing a Masters in Tourism from Amity University Jaipur, I had the opportunity to work as a MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) manager, and it was truly a transformative experience. The knowledge and skills I gained during my studies were put into practice in a real-world setting, allowing me to excel in managing various events and conferences. The university provided me with a solid foundation in tourism management, event planning, and marketing strategies, which were invaluable in my role as a MICE manager. The hands-on experience I gained through organizing and coordinating events helped me develop strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. I am grateful for the support and guidance of my professors and mentors, who always encouraged me to think creatively and push the boundaries of traditional event management. The university's emphasis on practical learning and industry connections enabled me to network with professionals in the field and gain valuable insights into the world of MICE management.

A few years ago, as a high-school graduate, I was in a dilemma with making an important decision: choosing a university. This meant I had to choose not only where I would go for the next three years of my life but also choose my future career and lifestyle. If choosing what kind of college to attend is hard, choosing which one is even harder. It was not until I was recommended to consider Amity University Jaipur that I became aware of it as an ideal option, and ideal it was as it really changes my personality. Visiting the campus, I noticed that there was something different here. I not only saw college students in hospitality studies and in-training waiters, chefs and receptionists, but rather I saw what it means to educate, train and guide the future leaders of tomorrow’s hospitality industry in a friendly, familial environment. I was greeted by various students in various languages, I met highly-trained professionals that did not only teach students – but also cared for their professional development. I took a tour of the large yet accessible campus, and in the end, I decided to join this little family and experience more of the “Amity School Of Hospitality Spirit’’ The Training that I have already received has been so much more than I expected. From a ‘Butler’ to ‘Team Leader’ then as ‘Assistant Restaurant Manager’ and currently as a ‘Restaurant Manager’ in 4 years . I am now confident that my future goals and dreams of my opening my own restaurant and aspiring to be a General Manager will become a reality. Thank you Amity School Of Hospitality.

I gave thoughts to join amity in the year 2017 of my further studies in the field of tourism. Amity university placed me for a 45 days internship programme with Cox & Kings. As a student of Masters in tourism and Travel, working on my dissertation was a stepping stone for me in the tourism industry.
