Komal Surana is a distinguished Clinical Psychologist whose journey reflects academic excellence, clinical depth, and a heartfelt commitment to mental health care. A proud alumna of Amity University Rajasthan, Komal earned her M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology with a Silver Medal, adding to a stellar academic record that includes a Gold Medal in her M.A. and top honors throughout her undergraduate studies.
Komal is also the founder of Moonshine Psychotherapy, a private practice that reflects her vision for accessible, empathetic, and culturally attuned mental health care. Through Moonshine, she offers personalized therapy services and psychoeducation, with a special focus on empowering women and adolescents. The practice embodies her belief in healing through clarity, compassion, and collaboration.
For about 2 years of her practice at Jain Neuropsychiatry & De-addiction Clinic in Jaipur, Komal has conducted over 1800 psychotherapy and diagnostic sessions, working with individuals across mood, neurotic, psychotic, personality, and childhood disorders. Her therapeutic approach blends evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, Transactional Analysis, and mindfulness, all grounded in a trauma-informed and client-centered philosophy.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Komal brings over a decade of training in visual arts to her therapeutic work.
