Aim & Objective of the Programme:
The seminar aims to equip pharmacy students with essential employment and entrepreneurial skills, empowering them to explore diverse career opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare sector, and business ventures. It seeks to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical applications, fostering innovation, self-reliance, and professional growth.
1. To enhance students' understanding of career opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare sector, and entrepreneurship.
2. To develop key employability skills such as communication, leadership, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
3. To introduce entrepreneurial concepts, including startup planning, regulatory requirements, and financial management in the pharmaceutical domain.
4. To provide insights into emerging trends and innovations in pharmacy and healthcare businesses.
5. To encourage self-employment and startup culture among pharmacy students through case studies and success stories.
6. To facilitate networking with industry experts, entrepreneurs, and professionals for mentorship and guidance.

Details of the Program:
The seminar on Empowerment through Employment and Entrepreneurship Skills was a highly anticipated event, drawing active participation from B. Pharm students across 4th, 6th, and 8th semesters students and faculties of AIP at Amity University MP., meticulously planned under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Kumar Mishra, Director of Amity Institute of Pharmacy, this program aimed to explore diverse roles in the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare sector, and research, communication, leadership, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, Starting a pharmacy business, innovation in drug development, and pharma startups and awareness about startup schemes, incubation centers, and financial support.
The event commenced with a ceremonial homage to Goddess Saraswati, symbolizing wisdom and knowledge, and setting the tone for an enlightening discourse. Esteemed guest, Mr. Hari Om Sharma, Managing Director of Chemsynth Drugs & Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi, and Executive Director of Alchemist Chemsynth Pharma Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi, graced the occasion, his presence adding immense value to the proceedings. Mr. Sharma's notable expertise in the field of entrepreneurship skills added credibility and depth to the discussion.
The head of the Institution, Prof (Dr.) Manoj Kumar Mishra delivered a compelling introductory note that emphasized the critical importance of the expert talk and its significant relevance to the academic and scientific community. Mr. Hari Om Sharma took the stage, delivering a captivating lecture on empowerment through employment and entrepreneurship skills. His healthy and effective interaction with the students made the seminar more engaging.
