Brief Report of the Activity:
(i) Introduction:
1) Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Amity University Madhya Pradesh, Gwalior organized an “Poster making Competition on Innovative Ideas Converting into Startup” on 20th August 2024. This event is organized by the Institution’s Innovation Council of Amity University Madhya Pradesh, Gwalior. This is the fourth quarter of activities for IIC 6.0, the Innovation Council established by the Ministry of Education.

3) The program was held at the Block-C Foyer area in the Amity University Madhya Pradesh. This program was planned and coordinated by Dr. Naveen Sharma, Professor, Dr. P Sagar, Associate Professor, Mr Arvind Singh Jadon, Assistant Professor, and Mrs MV Neethu, Assistant Professor under the guidance of Prof (Dr.) S. Mohana Lakshmi, Director, Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Amity University MP. Over 100 B. Pharm students from the 3rd, 5th, and 7th semesters actively participated.
(ii) Aims/Objective(s): The objectives of the event were -
Ø To stimulate creativity and innovation among students by encouraging them to think outside the box and develop novel ideas.
Ø To foster entrepreneurial thinking and help students develop skills like idea generation, market analysis, and business planning.
Ø To motivate students to take their ideas beyond the conceptual stage and pursue them as startups.
Ø To encourage them a do-it-yourself (DIY) spirit and self-sufficiency.
Ø To foster a sense of social responsibility among participants

(v) Highlights of the Event/Activity:
In this event, Dr Rajendra Kumar Sharma, HOD, Department of Psychology, Amity Institute of Behavioural and Allied Sciences, Amity University Madhya Pradesh, was the guest and evaluator for the competition. He emphasized to the students that converting an innovative idea into a startup involves a systematic approach of transforming a creative concept into a sustainable, functioning business. Dr. Neeraj Mishra, Professor, (second judge) also highlighted the significance of skilled individuals who share innovative ideas and endeavor to turn them into startups, which are essential for the country as a whole."
The program focused on the theme 'Innovative Ideas Converting into Startups.' To align with this theme, a poster making competition was organized, attracting numerous student participants." In the competition, the first position was secured by Mr. Surya Pratap Singh and Ms. Rani Rawat from 5th semester, second position was secured by Mr. Hemant Kushwah and Jay Krishna from 5th semester and the third position was secured by the Mr. Amar Ahuja and Mr. Harshvardhan from 3rd semester. At the end of the events, after the declaration of the results, the vote of thanks was given by Dr Naveen Sharma. A good appreciation was also conveyed for the volunteers' efforts and contributions to complete this activity.
(vi) Outcome(s): The program aimed to achieve the following outcomes:
Transforming innovative ideas into startups can have a profound impact on students and society at large. When students successfully turn their creative concepts into businesses, they can create tangible products or services that meet a specific need or offer something new. This can lead to significant benefits, such as:

- Economic Growth: Successful startups generate revenue, attract investment, and increase productivity, which can boost the overall economy.
- Innovation: Startups often introduce new products, services, or business models that can disrupt industries and drive innovation.
