As per the directions of the University Grants Commission vide letter D.O. 2-5/2024(CPP II) on June 19, 2024, an online competition was organized by Amity Law School Amity University Gwalior with the main objective of educating students, teachers, advocates and beneficiaries about the new criminal legislations.
On this occasion, the Pro-Chancellor of the University, Lt. Gen.(Retd.) Vinod Kumar Sharma AVSM said that today 1st July 2024 is important for all of us. It will be interesting to see how the three new criminal laws will start functioning and inclusion of technology will surely help in the investigation process. Prof Maj Gen Rajindra Kumar AVSM SM VSM (Retd), Director, Amity Law School, Gwalior said that it is necessary to give detailed information to everyone about how these three new criminal laws will fulfill the concept of justice system in India. Amity Law School, Gwalior, realizing its duty, will organize more programs for the wider dissemination of these three new criminal laws.
Total 258 participants from all over the country participated in this online competition mainly from NIMS University Jaipur, Kalinga University, ICFAI Dehradun, ICFAI Tripura, Dr. Ambedkar Law Institute Tripathi, KLE college Bengaluru, Osmania University, VM Salagaocar College of Law Goa, Amritsar Law College, Gujarat Maritime University are named a few.
