The Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Amity University Madhya Pradesh, Gwalior has celebrated the 123rd Birth Anniversary of Prof. Mahadeva Lal Schrof, Father of Pharmacy Education in India on Wednesday, 06th March 2025Mr. Deepesh Parashar and Dr. Ramakant Joshi were the Event Coordinator. 
Pharmacy Council of India has decided to recognize the contribution of Prof. Mahadeva Lal Schroff for establishing the Pharmacy Education in India by declaring his 'Birth Anniversary' 6 March as "National Pharmacy Education Day" and has given the opportunities to all Institutions to celebrate the event PHARMA ANVESHAN 2025 on theme Entrepreneurship & Startups in Pharma and Pharmacy Practice Encouraging Innovation, Incubation Centers and Pharmaceutical Startups”
In continuation to celebrate PHARMA ANVESHAN 2025, a guest lecture was organized in which Mrs. Sapna Avinash Kondalkar (Research Officer) RARI, CCRAS, Gwalior, has delivered her expert talk. She is a renowned expert in the Pharmacy field and has over 19 years of working experience.
 
Aim & Objective of the Program:
Amity Institute of Pharmacy has celebrated the National Pharmacy Education Day “ANVESHAN 2025”, to commemorate the birth anniversary of father of Pharmacy. The main objectives of the Pharmacy Council of India include:
·       To commemorate the 123rd Birth Anniversary of Prof. Mahadeva Lal Schroff and recognize his pioneering efforts in establishing pharmacy education in India.
·       To raise awareness about the historical significance of pharmacy education and its evolution in India.
·       To explore and promote the implementation of Entrepreneurship & Startups in Pharma and Pharmacy Practice. 
·       To foster stronger partnerships between academic institutions and the pharmaceutical industry, ensuring that pharmacy education remains relevant and aligned with industry needs.
Details of the Programme
In this program, B. Pharm students from all semesters and the faculties of AIP, AUMP actively participated. This program was successfully planned and organized with the consultation of Dr. Manoj Kumar Mishra, Director, Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Amity University, MP. 
The event was celebrated with a lot of devotion and dedication by worshiping Goddess Saraswati. To welcome our guest, a token of gratitude in the form of a bouquet was given to Mrs. Sapna Avinash Kondalkar by Deputy Director, Dr. Mukesh Singh Sikarwar. In continuation, the introductory note was given by Deputy Director, Dr. Mukesh Singh Sikarwar, enlighten the importance of Prof. Mahadeva Lal Schroff in establishing the Pharmacy Education in India. 
Mrs. Sapna Avinash Kondalkar has given the expert talk on intellectual property rights and how to file a patent. The guest lecture was a resounding success, leaving attendees inspired and enlightened. Her profound insights into the filing of patent have undoubtedly left a lasting impression on all those present. The lecture was an interactive session, where attendees had the opportunity to seek clarification, share their experiences, and engage in meaningful discussions with Mrs. Kondalkar. Her willingness to share knowledge enriched the learning experience for all participants.
 
Finally, as a gesture of appreciation, the guest was presented with a certificate and a memento by the organization. This thoughtful act served to express gratitude and honor towards the guest for their presence and contribution. 
The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Mukesh Singh Sikarwar. In his expression of gratitude, he extended appreciation to all participants, speakers, and organizers for their valuable contributions and efforts throughout the event.
