The Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Amity University Madhya Pradesh, Gwalior, successfully hosted an International Conference titled “Drug Discovery and Development: Pharmaceutical Approaches” on 11th December 2024.

The conference aimed to bring together pharmaceutical scientists, researchers, academicians, and students to discuss the latest advancements, challenges, and opportunities in the field of drug discovery and development. It served as a platform for knowledge exchange and networking among experts and attendees from diverse pharmaceutical and biotech domains.

International Conference on “Drug Discovery and Development: Pharmaceutical Approaches” aims toprovide opportunities for academicians, researchers and students to share their views on Drug Discovery and Development The objective of the present conference was to-

Share knowledge on various pharmaceutical science approaches, facilitating the development of innovative solutions to current challenges in drug discovery and development.
Promoting Interdisciplinary Research: Encouraging collaboration among different scientific disciplines to enhance drug discovery and development processes.
Facilitating Knowledge Exchange: Offering opportunities for participants to learn from each other through presentations and discussions on diverse topics related to drug discovery and development.
Addressing Current Challenges and role of academia and industries in the fields of Drug Discovery and Development.

The international conference was arranged in a hybrid format (online and offline) to create an opportunity for academicians, researchers, and students to share their views on this important topic. Distinguished eminentresource persons were invited from reputed academic institutions from India as well as outside of India. They addressed the audience on the theme of the international conference and discussed various approached to drug discovery as per the requirements of the current scenario.

The conference was successfully planned and organized by Prof. (Dr.) Neeraj Mishra (Convenor) and Dr. RamBabu Tripathi (Organizing Secretary). All faculty of Amity Institute of Pharmacy, AUMP actively participated and fulfilled all responsibilities and assignments for the success of the international conference.
