 General Introduction of the Event. 

Students visited Mitaoli Padavali & Bateshwar a historic site in Gwalior known for its beautiful architecture and intricate designs. The goal of this educational trip was to let students explore cultural heritage while practicing their photography skills in a real-world setting. The location, with its rich history, offered an ideal backdrop for students to observe and capture architectural details using their cameras.
 
 Objectives of the Event
·      To help students understand and appreciate the design of historical architecture and how it influences today’s styles.
·      To give students a chance to apply photography skills they’ve learned in the classroom to a practical environment.
·      To encourage creativity and careful observation through on-the-spot photography assignments focused on architectural design.
·      To improve students' ability to capture detailed shots in challenging outdoor lighting conditions.
 
 
Details of the location 
 
Mitaoli, Bateshwar and Padawali
Mitaoli, Padavali, and Bateshwar are important historical sites located near Gwalior, dating back to the Gupta and Gurjara-Pratihara dynasties. The Chausath Yogini Temple in Mitaoli, built by Maharaja Devapala, stands atop a hill, offering panoramic views and is believed to have inspired the design of the Parliament House in New Delhi. Padavali, known for its 18th-century fortress built by the Jat Ranas, also houses a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, with detailed stone inscriptions. Nearby, Bateshwar is a collection of nearly 200 sandstone temples dedicated to Shiva and Vishnu, spread over 25 acres. These temples, built between the 8th and 10th centuries, sit amidst a picturesque landscape where peacocks and other birds add to the beauty. All three destinations are easily accessible from Gwalior in the Morena district.

·      Students enhanced their ability to take clear and detailed photos, even in outdoor lighting conditions that were challenging.
