Convocation Gown & Caps |
- Thereafter you are requested to move immediately to the designated Counter for collection of Gown with duly filled Gown Slip for the Issue of Gown.
- The Gown Return Slip will be retained by you till the end of the Convocation and has to be deposited at the Gown return Counters. And refund of your security will be disbursed from the designated counter.
- Please ensure that you return the Gown after the Convocation is over along with the duly signed Gown Return Slip at the Gown Return Counter. If you have lost the gown or any part of your gown set, you will be required to deposit cash at the Gown Return Counter as per the following:
- Complete Gown – Rs 1000 /-
- Gown – Rs 700 /-
- Cap – Rs 200/-
- Hood – Rs 100 /-
- Degrees will be collected before 6:15 PM and the Gown must be returned latest by 7:00 PM.

Hospitality |
- While you are collecting the gown, your parents / guests may proceed to the designated venue for Lunch.
- Thereafter you are also requested to move to the lunch venue to have your lunch with the guests.
- Please take special care of your parents / guest accompanying you.
- Lunch must finish by 1:00 PM

Seating at the main Venue |
- The Entry to Auditorium Block B will be open at 12:45 PM. Please proceed to the Auditorium after you have collected your Gown and had your lunch.
- The seating arrangements for Parents/ Guests are in the designated areas. A separate entry will be made for your Guests. You are requested to be seated before 01:15 PM in designated area. Entry to Auditorium will not be allowed after 01:30 PM.
- All PhD graduands and the winners of Medals / Awards will be seated in the designated area separately.
- Other than Organizing Committee members Proctor and faculty members from the University will be there to help you.

Convocation Ceremony |
Convocation Proceedings will commence at 01:50 PM after the Academic Procession has entered the Auditorium Block B. The Auditorium Proceeding are as under: -
- Academic Procession graces on the stage
- Convocation 2024 is declared open
- Welcome Address & Report by Vice Chancellor
- Address by Hon’ble Pro Chancellor
- Address by Hon’ble Chancellor & Chairman
- Address by Hon’ble Founder President Sir
- Award of Honoris Causa & Honorary Professorship
- Conferment of Degrees and Administrative pledge
- National Anthem
- Academic Procession leave the venue

Important Points |
- Please be seated according to the section allotted to you.
- All graduands have been issued gowns and caps at the Registration desk and are requested towear them throughout the function. Please remember to return the gowns and caps to the Registration desks after the convocation.
- All present in the Auditorium Block B are requested to rise when the Procession enters the Auditorium, during the National Anthem at the end of the ceremony and also when the Procession leaves.
- Once seated, there will be no movement in the Auditorium and perfect discipline will be maintained.
- Recipients are not allowed to leave the Auditorium until the ceremony is over and the Academic Procession has exited the Plaza.
- PhD Degree holders, awardees of Gold, Silver & Bronze Medals, Best All Round Student Trophy and Shri Baljit Shastri Award will be given on stage of Auditorium Block B.
- The Degrees, Certificates, for Academic Performance will be presented after the Convocation ceremony is over at different venues as mentioned on page no. 1.
- Photography facility will be available at various venues for the graduands if they wish to get themselves photographed.
- Photographs will be available for download in 15 days. You will receive a link to a cloud drive where you can access and download your images.
- Please make sure to check the official social media handles of Amity University Gwalior and your email regularly as the link will be sent to the email address provided at the time of registration. Please contact ASCO Studio / Faculty Room for assistance if you do not receive the link after 15 days.
- There are also various selfie points where students and guests can get themselves photographed.
- At the venue of degree and certificate distribution, all students are requested to stay till all the degrees have been distributed.
- Amity University is happy to have created Amity Alumni Association portal with Gwalior as one of its Chapters. We request all our ex-students to register on this portal so that we keep on sharing updates with you, and you will feel forever close to your alma mater.
- Please keep your mobiles switched off during the entire proceedings.
