Amity School of Architecture and Planning is committed towards developing competent future architects and planners since 2011. The school is successfully running programmes in B Arch, B. Plan, M. Plan (Urban and Rural) and Ph.D and is recognised by the Council of Architecture and Institute of Town Planners India. Presently, twenty Ph.D. scholars are pursuing their doctoral research at the school, while four candidates are awarded the PhD degrees. The school is known for competent research driven faculty and excellent infrastructure. Recently, Amity School of Architecture and Planning, Gurugram got appointed as a Mentor Institute for preparation of Spatial Plans for four Rurban clusters of Arunachal Pradesh under the Central Government Sponsored Scheme 'Shyama Prasad Mukherji Rurban Mission'. Hosted in Platinum Rated green campus, environment sustainability is at the center of all educational endeavors. 

Since its inception, ASAP has grown and evolved into a leading full-fledged scholastic institute nurturing talented young professionals in the field of architecture and planning. It is recognized as the creative, academic and entrepreneurial academic destination in the country.

The Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral programmes are conducted under the able guidance of highly qualified experts from academia and industry. The institute is a learning abode to pursue architectural education as it focusses on innovative methods of imparting knowledge, hands-on activities, creative intellectual orientation, experiential learning and effective mentor-mentee programmes complemented by world-class infrastructure facilities. With a large number of national-level conferences, seminars, symposia and workshops held throughout the academic session, ASAP has grown into an all-round development centre that caters to the holistic development of the students.

The school also hosts India’s second and north India's first LEED lab on campus in collaboration with USGBC and GBCI. The green buildings on campus offer motivation to all the university students for being more responsible global citizens. The school aims at overall development of students through exposure to latest technical advances, fostering innovation, imbibing cultural values, sensitivity towards built heritage, interdisciplinary studies, behaviour skills, student exchange and many such initiatives. The alumni of school are holding vital positions in organizations across India and abroad.

 

Along with imparting of knowledge, the students are trained in varied skills including drawing, architectural presentation, research and writing, seminars, public speaking, computer applications, foreign language, technical and managerial aptitudes in problem definition and solution seeking.

Sustainable development being the foremost concern of the School and the development of students into global citizens being the ultimate objective, the spectrum of the academic programme is being continuously extended.
