  • ABOUT CUET

    The Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET) is a national-level entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate programs in more than 44 central universities across the country. To get success in the CUET entrance exam, students must plan and prepare in an effective manner. Apart from completing the prescribed CUET syllabus, students must take an ample number of CUET Mock Tests to be thorough with the skills to attempt the exam with accuracy.

    Understanding CUET with AICE SPEC

    The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is being introduced for admission into all UG Programmes in major Central Universities for academic session under the Ministry of Education, (MoE). Some important

    points related CUET examination are as under:

    • CBSE board marks are insufficient for UG admissions, as CUET score becomes the sole criterion for the admissions in major central universities including Delhi University, BHU etc., among others.
    • The CUET exam is completely MCQ-based, whereas CBSE has a mix of objective and subjective way of evaluation.
    • Each question will carry 5 mark and for each wrong answer, there will be a negative marking of 1 mark. Difficulty level of CUET is bit higher than CBSE exams.
    • It is a computer-based mode (CBT) examination.
    • Over all 44 Central Universities, 12 State Universities and 21 private universities are accepting CUET scores for their UG admission for the session.
    • There are three sections that make up the pattern of the CUET Exam. Section I for language (split into two subsections), Section II for domain subjects, and Section III for the general test.
    • A candidate can take a maximum of 9 tests in the following manner: Maximum of 02 languages from Section IA and Section IB taken together, maximum of 06 Domain Subjects from Section II and General Test from Section III.
